Coherency between thermal and electrical transport of partly reduced graphene paper

چکیده

By continuously varying the structure of graphene oxide paper (PRGP) using Joule heating annealing, we are able to tune its electrical conductivity (?) and thermal diffusivity (?) in a very wide range: more than three orders magnitude for ? (186–503009 S/m) 10-fold ? (8.31 × 10?7 m2/s 9.31 10?6 m2/s). Excellent coherency-linear relationship between is discovered although they sustained by different carriers: electrons phonons. Such coherency exists over two sections: > 2 104 S/m, 103<? < S/m. A two-component parallel proposed interpret observed discovery. The slope ??? relation reflects ratio difference components ordered structure. intercept disordered It found our PRGP agrees well with that amorphous carbon. Past work on carbon nanocoil, paper, film, fiber also reveals linear ?. However, there no uniform while close similar materials. parameters strongly depend structures material.

High-field electrical and thermal transport in suspended graphene.

We study the intrinsic transport properties of suspended graphene devices at high fields (≥1 V/μm) and high temperatures (≥1000 K). Across 15 samples, we find peak (average) saturation velocity of 3.6 × 10(7) cm/s (1.7 × 10(7) cm/s) and peak (average) thermal conductivity of 530 W m(-1) K(-1) (310 W m(-1) K(-1)) at 1000 K. The saturation velocity is 2-4 times and the thermal conductivity 10-17 ...

Graphene and Graphene Multilayers: Phonon Thermal Transport

In this entry, we review thermal properties of graphene and multilayer graphene and discuss in detail the optothermal Raman technique developed for the thermal conductivity measurements. We also outline different theoretical approaches used for the description of phonon transport in graphene and provide comparison with the available experimental thermal conductivity data.

Thermal transport in graphene

of phonon transport in graphene is discussed along with associated experimental and theoretical investigation techniques. Several theories and experiments have suggested that the absence of interlayer phonon scattering in suspended monolayer graphene can result in higher intrinsic basal plane thermal conductivity than that for graphite. However, accurate experimental thermal conductivity data o...
